Evolution, creation and intelligent design Evolution, creation and intelligent design are all theories designed to help us address the issue of earth's origin.

Evolution relies on the view that it was natural selection that helped eliminate weaker species in favor of something more adaptable. This evolutional thought is founded in microbiology. While this particular science has never been observed the belief is that evolution is a process that takes millions of years so it is difficult to physically observe the changes.

Creation is a theory that ascribes weight to the biblical account of creation and suggests that all created beings are here at the direction of God and the Bible holds the answer to the purpose and place of mankind.

Intelligent design relies on a combination of scientific data and observable logic to determine that while they don't know who the designer is they believe the earth was created by someone with a superior intelligence.
