Who controls the media?

Who do you feel really controls the majority of what is placed in the media? The Liberals...Or the Conservatives. Is there a liberal bias in news reporting? Or is there more of a conservative bias?

To be honest, I think it may actually be more of an even balance. FOX News obviously has the most biased news reporting I've ever seen in any of the major stations, and the slant is conservative. CNN has improved, but it might have a slight hint of liberal bias. It's not always easy to tell, though.

To answer the full thread on this subject: I really think everyone has a finger stirring the pot here and there, it doesnt really matter to me who did it, it just matters that it is being done.

I can not handle watching Fox it actually makes my BP rise they drive me that much up the wall, thinking that banging my head against a brick wall, waiting to see little stars would be more productive.

Money is the ruler of both the parties.
If in, our own presidential candidate for example, McCain or Obama paid for more ads or commercials then they would get more coverage then voters ect ect. So even if one president paid for more ads then he has a better chance for becoming president no matter if he was actualy a good one or not.

I agree. The most with the most wins the most. Money is power and power is money. May the richest man or woman win, not necessarily the best. It's ike the one with the most toys wins.

Indeed true. I don't know if you've ever seen the old movie Mr. Smith Goes to Washington or not but those days of a simple man or woman ascending into a position of power in the U.S. Senate are long gone I'm afraid.
