I think it needs to be legalized everywhere. And ultimately, it should be the woman's choice whether or not she has the baby.

I can see why you think this should be the woman's choice, but the baby gets no choice and the father gets no choice. It not pro-choice for them, its no choice. Anyone that supports abortion should go to their mother and thank them that they didn't believe in it or they would have no voice to speak with...in the event that they had been aborted. There are so many childless couples out there that its a shame to throw in the trash or incinerate, what could have been the next president or the scientist that could have cured cancer.

The fetus gets no choice. I didn't have a choice in whether or not I should be born, nor did you or anyone else. It doesn't matter. Also, you can't make decisions like this based on what the fetus could turn into. It could turn into the next president, or it could turn into another Hitler. There just isn't a way to know until the thing's out and grown.

The father should never be able to have the "choice," and choice in this case is regarded as final say. I'm all for fathers having input. It's their fetus too, after all. But the ultimate decision needs to be made by the owner of the body the fetus inhabits. That owner is the woman - not the father, nor the fetus.

I couldn't care less if my mother had aborted me, actually. For one, I wouldn't be here to care, so I'm not sure how anyone can use that in an argument....aside from that, I'd have costed her a heck of a lot less money and trouble.

Childless couples? They need to consider how to adopt. I've heard the argument made by pro-lifers that people who want abortions are just being selfish. Well, if these said childless couples only want kids of their own genes and won't adopt, isn't that being selfish too? It's a two way street, y'know. There are just so many options out there, there's no reason for them to be childless if they want kids that badly. Not to mention, I'm not even sure of the relevancy of that, since it's not like women who have abortions are robbing childless parents of anything....

Hope that made some sense. ;)

I can not see how the father should never be able to have a choice in this since you already said that "its their fetus too!" If its the fathers too, why doesn't he get any choice?

I don't believe you are full owner of the fetus. The father is part owner so why should he get no say at all.
